wanna get the vafc2 but , Im not sure if they make a specific fuel regulator that fits on I guess an aftermarket fuel rail. Question is do I need it aswell , or can I just have the vafc2 ? seriously planning stg2 cam with retainers , etc.
Ive seen some other internals at mugen thinking bout it for long term ...

VAFC is NOT a fuel pressure regulator. It is simply a poor man's engine managment. The only thing you can do with it, besides adjust vtec engagment,is adjust the fuel @ 12 points on the rpm curve for both hi and low cam status.

To get the best results for the cam I'd reccomend at least emanage so you have ignition timing adjustment capabilities as well as more room to mess with fuel adjustment.

As far as fuel pressure regulators go, you wont need to change it with n/a setup unless you really want to have that much adjustability. The only thing it will save you on is having to upgrade to bigger injectors. With it you can increase the pressure of the current injector (to a certain point) so you don't have to shell out another couple $100 on new injectors.
