Car Lowered??? scrapping!!!

I have ground control coilovers and 205/40/17. I lowered my car about two inches. I am wondering if anyone else scraps the bottom of their car as bad as I do. I always scrap the pipe that connects the cadillac converter and exhaust. I also scrap the cadillac converter, but rarely. If anyone else has this problem and knows how to fix it, please help me out. I've considered getting a new pipe that doesn't stick out under the car as much as the stock pipe does, although I can't do that. The new pipe will be pressed up against the heat plate and then if I scrap the pipe I could damage it even worst. What do I do???

I don't think there's really anything you can do. I have the same size rim and tires and same drop, and I scrape everything. I guess we have to just live with it if we want our cars that low.

I have exactly the same as you (Ground Control Coilovers, 205/40/17 tires, & lowered around 2"). The only time I scrape is either going over extremely steep inclines or declines, speedbumps, or on roads in pretty bad shape, on the bad roads the car just starts bouncing more & more but so far I have never heard, felt, or seen it scrape on the bad roads, only with big potholes. If your car is scraping ALL the time then you're either driving over roads that are 99% potholes & asphalt is rarely seen or your car is lowered more than 2". I have scraped some but not very often. The part of my exhaust that hangs down in the middle is all scratched up but not to the point that it really alarms me. The only other part of my car that has ever scraped is right underneath the front bumper when I back out of driveways that are higher than the road, sometimes it will drop off & I'll feel & hear it drag but that only happens when I don't back out real slow (If I backed out real slow it wouldn't drag). The solution to your problem may just be as simple as you avoiding more potholes & going slower over bumps. Hope this helped some.

raise your car. slowing down for every bump in the road sucks, and sooner or later some idiot not paying attention is going to rear end you.
