e-manage blue vs ultimate?
my emanage was stolen out of my car and i was wondering what might be an advantage of going ultimate this time instead of replaceing it with blue? any real good arguments for this?

You can auto tune with emanage ultimate like you can keep a target air/fuel ratio with a wideband and I believe you can also load 2 maps. Other than that I'm not sure what else is different.
Yes, it's an Acura EL

^^I bought my Ultimate over a Blue because of the auto-tune feature. I believe the maps are also more finely tunable but I haven't yet installed my EMU so I can't speak for anything else on it.

Well you still have to build your map but if I'm not mistaken you can set a target air/fuel ratio to let's say 14.7:1 for partial throttle and the maps will calibrate to match that off your wideband readings. This is similar to how the PCS-XFC works.

In practicality they should yield the same amount of power because tuning WOT fuel should essentially be the same with the blue and ultimate; however, I would assume since you're boosted the ultimate would drive better as a daily driver having better partial throttle capabilities with the auto tune feature. Plus having the ability load 2 maps is pretty cool. You can have probably a street map and a race map. Good luck w/e you decide to do. If you're willing to spend money on emanage ultimate you might as well consider PCS-XFC since they're in the same price range. More boosted guys are having alot of success with it but the draw back is that you can't alter ignition timing (yet).

Dezod Motorsports. Powertrain Control Systems XFC Fuel Controller-Universal or PCS - Powertrain Control Solutions - XFC - Xtended Fuel Controller
PM Wilmnchris... he's using the PCS-XFC with his dezod turbo kit with no issues on his daily driver. He's really cool and will answer all of your questions. I'm sure Dezod can give you a plethora of information as well.

Dezod sells a PNP harness for the PCS too. Good thing about PCS is that if you have an internet connection the techs at PCS can tune your car via the internet. Chris also made a base map for the turbo guys that use PCS. I imagine its not too hard for a tuner to learn bc you're just adding fuel with boost since it can't alter timing. You must be thinking if I'm N/A how do I know so much about this... but Chris and I have become good friends and we talk about this stuff almost daily.

over the net? yeah thats cool and all but i think doing it on a dyno while running would be more efficient. every time the car has been tuned so far, it has been on the dyno.
