Gas Question
Gas has its "levels" Bronze Silver GOld/Suprreme/Premium what ever the top level the most expesnive maybe. Now my question is is the difference in 4 cents a liter worth the gas i know their has 2 be some benifits to having that better quality gas. If it runs for more KM doesnt it end up working out to be the same plus the more horses and its better on your engine?
2005 Civic is what im working with. Im almost at an empty tank so i wanted to test this out how many KMs id get or fk it save the 5 bucks and go to mcdonalds.

Hey Carter, there is a huge thread about the different octanes and what they do. The big misconception is higher octane is better for the car. This is not the case so don't feel bad bc I didn't know this either. Basically the higher octane is used to prevent detonation. Our civics do not have high compression like alot of the high end cars and we're not turbocharged or anything so 87/89 is just fine. I'm sure there is a difference from Shell 87 octane to like Wawa 87 octane but thats another debate. Chevron puts techron in their fuel I believe and thats good for the fuel system. I hope that helps. PS look for that huge thread about gas (petrol) you'll learn alot. Don't get upset at the above members comments. They get annoyed at repeated questions. Welcome to the site.
