Seat Belt Minder Disable HOW!??

How do you deactivate the Seat Belt Minder ? The chiming noise the car makes whenever you DONT put on your seat belt...

I used to have a ford focus and this was how it was done:

take the buckle apart and pin down the thing that makes the chime go off.

You have to be a idiot to drive without your seatbelt. That's just asking to get smashed so you can fly out the window.

But yeah, seatbelt in buckle is your best bet.

whatevers though, to each his own- but ****... Hxrxld, why do you need your reminder to be disabled in the first place? If you let us know why- i'm sure you'll get a lot more suggestions. We dont want someone getting hurt because of the information suggested on this site...

VWR32Turbo is an unknown quantity at this point
go to the junk yard/pick-in-pull grab the male part of the buckel off the seat belt, then insert into female end in your car

this dosen't exclude you from not wearing your seat belt or equivelent...

Yeah, I dropped the ball on that one ^^ I kinda felt like I told a kid that santa was fake before he was ready. Oh well....

And yes, there are other threads on this, allthough I hope he doesnt read them until he finds an alternate means to be restrained in the car.

good luck bro, dont kill yourself.

There's your link, so this thread will end. But, I gotta ask, ever seen anyone get ejected from a vehicle in a crash?? I have, and it's generally messy. Wear the damned seatbelt.
