Mounting OEM 01-03 fog lights?

how much of a pain is this? is it pretty straight forward? i searched a ton of different word combinations, but did not find a DIY on the whole fog light install, nor on the cutting/mounting portion...I held one of the templates up to the bumper and it looks a little vague on what and where should be cut...

thank you for any help

neilpostance is an unknown quantity at this point
If you look at the fog light section on this page,

http://www.handa-accessories.com/civext01.html

It has a big list of the official Honda fitting instructions, there are 9 different versions (they can't be all that different) so you will have to select your particular vehicle.

Hope that helps

The template is right, i thought it was wrong too...best tool to use is a dremel, and the interior wiring is the worst, getting your hands in the fuse box is a pain in the ***, but yea just follow the template, if you under cut ull be fine.

here's a picture of the driver side template...disregard my finger, i'm not pointing at anything, just holding down the template...

...what's confusing me, is that the instructions tell you to drill holes in the places where the circles are on the template. but if you cut out the shape of the template in the bumper, then those holes no longer exist...i don't know if this is making sense to anyone, but that's the best i can explain it...

the instructions don't do a very good job of explaining this part. i don't know if i'm supposed to cut the shape of the entire template as pictured, or just some of the lines and not all of them...

The holes are most likely pilot holes to help you to start cutting if you don't have a dremel or something with a cutting wheel.

not too bad about an hour tops!! you will probably spend more time running the wires than mounting them...lol
