i usually shift faster than the revs can drop when im racing and it kinda jerks around for a sec. i guess that would change with a lighter flywheel. i want an unsprung hub clutch but that would suck *** to daily drive with

no hub?
Goodbye tranny!
One miss shift in your daily driver you wont have second gear.
I hope you plan on buying a new or used tranny when this swap goes down.

they arent very enjoyable. i got one for my talon because i was smoking clutches trying to slip off the line so i wouldnt blow my drivetrain apart. city driving i had to launch at about 4 grand slowing slipping off the clutch until it grabbed and took off. but it pwnd at the track.

lol.
My friend and I are still trying to figure out the editing process.
I think it might just be a few short engagements from out side and inside the car.

Well all I am just looking at all of this. I am also looking at staying N/A on my 02 ex. But am thinking about going with the GUDE head package. I had one on my 91. A little pricey but you get everything from cam, valves, springs p&p. Just wondering if anyone has a gude package on their em2 and what kind of gains did they see?

No one I know has used the Gude package yet. Familycar was the one that first told us about it. I'm interested to see if it has more gains than crower. Goodluck and keep us posted if you get it.

I have meet Bill Gude before. I was running an 83 supra and used his set up for it as well as the hatch that I had. I am just curious as to what type of gains I will see, seeing that I will have to drop about $1200 for the package. Plus core. Since my car is daily driver it makes it hard to swap it out with little down time. I will have to call Gude and see if they have a spec sheet on it and have it sent to me. I will keep you guys posted on this. 02blk where in PHX are you at. I visit there about once or twice a year. Grew up there. East Side near 40th and Thomas. Where is a good shop down there. I will be down that way in a couple months I think.
