Reset Airbag Light after Race Seat Install
I just recently Installed some new racing bucket seats but I started the car while my harness was disconnected. How do I reset the Airbag Light? I already tried unplugging the battery. I'm pretty sure that my stock seats did not have the factory airbags built in the seat. There was a thread on reseting the light but I cant find it. PLEASE HELP
Unplug the SRS wire from the fuse box under the dash.
Its the one with the yellow plug.
Take a paper clip and cut it so it is in a U shape.
Insert into SRS plug.
Stick key in ignition and turn it to on (don't start the car).
Within a couple of second the SRS light will turn off.
Take paper clip off.
SRS light will come on again.
Stick paper clip back in quickly.
Can't remember how many times you need to repeat the above steps so repeat until SRS light blinks twice and turns off.

alright, i just made a post about this myself before i found your post. tried the link and it worked. the hardest part was fitting the wire in the connector. it was dark out and that damn light was all that was on my mind. i even switch seatbelt clip sensors and all. this is just the first day on the site and it's already been a great help. thanks guys.
Well my SRS light has been on for about two years now. I reset it and that didnt work. I took the seatbelts out and replaced with 4 point harness. Plugged all the sensors back up and everything. It still wont work. So I dont know how to fix mine.

I recently took my civic to the dealership to have the 90K maintnence performed. The SRS light had been on for months after my wife and I tried to make armrests out of the headrest portion of the seat by removing the hedrest and putting it between the seat and the console, rods first. Long trip. About an hour into the drive the SRS light came on. My wife had taken the car for the maintnence and they told her the SRS sensor in the computer was bad and we had to replace the sensor, which happened to be inside of the control module. Both had to be replaced. I just reset the SRS light in my CIVIC in about 5 minutes. If there was a bad sensor the light wouyld still be on, correct?
