Really K20A2? Where the hell are ya'll getting your info from? It's K20C, the RSX (base) is K20A. I know your gonna flame me, but I have a sh!tload of sources that you can verify for yourself that it is the K20C! Damn, you got everyone here thinking its the K20A. RSX Type S is the K20C. Go ahead flame me, but i would prefer you to ask me to show you the facts.

here is just a few, adn if you call me mag racer for posting these few sources at first, bite me. I will give you the number to any Acura dealership and they will tell you the same. Neo, I saw your post about going to Clubrsx.com and getting flamed for calling it the K20C, but they might have been discussing the base RSX (and yes I read the thread were they flamed you, which really was't that bad of a flaming)

Article: Driving Impression: Acura RSX Type - S

I emailed Courtesy Acura in Longwood, FL and personaly stopped by to see the RSX and asked the service manager and one of the salesman (yeah, yeah salesman don't no jack but I figured I'd ask anyway) Both said it is the K20C in the RSX Type S.

You got proof? Or are you going to just flame me and not show proof.

BTW - Yeah, I have seen Htown's picture of the code on the engine, and if you knew how to read the damn code you wouldn't just blindly assume it was the K20A. K20 - the block. The fact that there is an A after that is coincidince (sp?). Just like ours... D17 - the block. That is the way Honda and Acura have done it for as far back as I can find. Now, make this an intellectual arguement and disprove me with fact, and not flaming. I have plenty more sources to state, and not all are magazines, either.

Htown has the engine and he plans on swapping it. He put pictures up that show it is the K20A2. Plus I was just at my Acura dealer yesterday and I looked at the engine codes for both models. Not flamin' ya, just letting you know what is stamped on the engine of the Type S: K20A2

BTW: if it's that important to you, go ask the people on Club RSX. They'll let you know real quick

wow trying to call me out? This must be important to you. Your rice magazine is wrong.

That is a pic of the engine code straight from the RSX-S Engine of HtownCivic, talk to him if you think its fake.

Then why the hell does every magazine including MotorTrend (Im sorry, my rice magazines ) and my local Acura Dealership, including the parts department (I asked to about a RSX Type S engine, in which it was listed as K20C with some long **** part number) all refer to the RSX Type S engine as the K20C? The dealership and virtually all magazines on the shelf are all wrong? i can understand where you would think that from the picture, but even before that you were basing the engine code off of what others had said at ClubRSX.com, where as at RSXzone.com, it was refered to as the K20C also. Christ, I don't want to get in some BS arguement over this, but to make personal attacks on people over this is stupid. Im not saying you have on me, but I have read other threads where you have called people morons and such because of them refering to it as the K20C On the topic of Rice Magazines, SCC is one of the better magazines when refering to technical knowledge. Now if I had said SuperStreet or HCN or Import Tuner, I could understand where you are coming from. Besides, Neo, what the hell is your definition of rice, I couldn't find either one of your vics, but that website you have on your siggy has some very nice rice, or do those 18" spoilers, 17-18 rims, and such actually serve a purpose besides adding more weight to their car?

First of all, both of my Civics are listed under member's rides, maybe you should look. And if you want to start beef with one of the biggest car clubs on the east coast, then maybe you should tell them to there faces. If you believe it's K20C so much, go to Club RSX, and make a fuss about it there. See how much you get laughed at.

LOL. MotorTrend is Rice, eh? Forget it, I'll call it whatever, you call it whatever, as long it is understood what the hell we are talking about.

Neo: I looked, I couldn't find your ride(s) under members, I could only find your cars in the profiles section only after I checked their forums. BTW- Polishing Compound if used lightly will help get rid of your scuff mark, just will take sometime.

FocusKiller: Bite me. I tried to have civilized conversation, and you pull that **** up. Read my previous post, and if I would have posted those other magazines, I would expect that crap.

It was a joke. Calm down man, I didn't know it was that important to you. I really don't give a f*ck anymore, it's not a big deal. I was just trying to add a little humor to the debate. Maybe I should know better than to have a sense of humor on these forums w/all the hating that's been going on lately.

Neo: I didn't mean I couldn't find your ride here, I couldn't find it in the Waterworks site. I checked the links, and from now on Ill refer to it as the K20A2. Yet, like RickSXTypeS said at ClubRSX.com is that it is confusing when virtually all the mags say it is the K20C. Oh well, it really doesn't matter too much anywho.

focusKiller: Im not hyped up, it's all good man.
