Getting head unit out without marking up around the ends

Hey Guys,

Sorry if this has already been posted I have searched but didn't find anything.

Does anyone have any tips or a tool I should buy to get the headunit out with out putting a bunch of dents in the soft stuff around the headunit?

Any help would be great

Thanks

I took out the lower panel with the CLA. Then removed the 2 bolts. I thought next you just basicly pry the headunit out from its clips.

But its making dents in the dash around it. I don't want to mark it all up

I take off the piece where the charger is and then reach up behind the whole assembly and push out. It is difficult, but you just need to get it started enough to get a grip on the assembly from the front

bwahahaha sorry its off topic, but i quickly glanced at the first two words of the thread title and laughed!!!

i would suggest pulling the whole center piece out, as in the dash part. unplug the wires and you can do it all on a counter top or something
