Other than RSX what seats fit in a 7th gen

After sitting in the 7thgen seats for so long and hearing all of my passengers say they are uncomfortable what are my options? I don't really want to pay for RSX seats since I don't care that much. I just want comfort. I want some bucket seats out of an American made car. When I get in to my GF's dodge it feels like I am sitting on a couch in comparison to the civic. I rode in my dad's Buick and I fell asleep in seconds. Does anyone know what I need to look for before I buy a new seat? I figure I would need the matching seatbelts, I would need to make sure it fits between the console and the door, it cant be too tall for clearing the steering wheel. Is there anything else I should look out for when picking a seat? As far as mounting it goes I can handle that it doesn't need to be a direct bolt in. I mean the seat belt will hold it in place.

you can make pretty much any seat fit as long as you can make some custom brackets

Can I just buy the generic brackets off of e-bay and connect those to the seats? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/01-02...spagenameZWDVW

I got RSX leathers for $450 picked up. Thats amazingly cheap. Cheaper than 1 quality seat new.

Si seats fit also, but other than used you are going to be paying a lot!

I understand that RSX seats are the most desirable. I am 6'2'' 250lbs. I want American made seats. I can get seats off of stratus forums for about 100-200. I know they are more comfortable than RSX seats to me. I do not want RSX seats for 450. I mean it would be nice don't get me wrong but I spend more time sitting in the seat than I do looking at them. What I am asking is if anyone knows about seats the way some guys know about engines or sound systems. Like what do I need to look for? What would void the deal? Would I need to buy civic brackets for the stratus seats or could I just drill and mount?

Seats are kind of like stereo equipment - as long as there is enough total space, anything will fit with the right brackets and such. I have seen both Celica and del Sol seats in a 7th Gen, but honestly, you could make just about anything fit.

agreed lol

but seriously man, you can make anything fit as far as brackets as long as it fit's in the space. there are a lot of company's that can make you complete bolt on brackets for the 7th gen too, just google it.
