Inverter Dissassenbly And Relocation
Has anyone done this? Where did you mount the outlets? I'm thinking about putting the 2 outlets in the 2 cutouts under the radio. I'm not sure what they're supposed to be for but my car's a DX so it doesn't have any of that. Then I can hide the rest of the inverter behind the dash and just plug stuff in there whenever I want!
I think it'll look pretty stock as long as the cutouts are big enough.

I just took an entire inverter and had it all behind the stereo. This was with an in dash DVD player which went really far back. There is room there for sure. Just take power from the cig lighter wires.
I had something permanantly to it (xbox) but for you, use a small extension cord. That way no modding a power supply, which is a good thing!

Well I already have the inverter set up and working, it's just under my driver seat. But I want easier access to it and I want it to look good. This way I could just plug my phone into my dash.
*EDIT - without buying a car charger

I hope you have a few thousand watt inverter if you want to use a microwave!
seriously though, Just hide it and use extension cords if you are willing to do it. That way you can remove it later and you won't risk breaking it or hurting yourself or worse catching your car on fire.
