What would happen if...?
the flowmaster site said changing the tail pipe would help the sound too.. am i right?
and i read somewhere that flowmaster mufflers are amongst the worst at allowing exhaust to flow thru.. which in their theory robs low end torque.. i was reading up on exhaust faq at this link..

i havent heard any civics with flowmasters on em but im sure they dont sound 2 bad a muffler is a muffler to me and if your only going to change your muffler then your only going to get a sound improvement if anything, you shouldnt lose any torque or horsepower and you most definately wont gain anything much on the d17 motor....u might gain .1 horsesssssss
oh.. they said having a muffler restricts airflow and the best exhaust system is no muffler at all.. but since we cannot not have one, we have to make the best out of it.. haha im noob.. trying to gather info by reading stuff
