big3 wiring help

Hey
a couple of months ago, I posted a question on whether anyone had written a DIY about doing the big 3 upgrade in our car. someone linked me to this thread: http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=221034 . After looking at it, i noticed that this wasn't really a big 3 upgrade.
so here's my question. has anyone upgrade the battery power to alternator wire? or the chassis to engine wire?
thanks

Are you talking about changing it from the stock wire to like an aftermarket piece of 2 gadge wire? Yeah i did that when i swapped my engine cause the battery is in the trunk now. But if not thin i have know idea what you talking about.

its basically replacing some of the stock wires in the engine bay with 4 gauge wiring. gonna try to do battery negative to chassis, engine ground to chassis, and battery positive to alternator.

LOL you should try to keep all the wiring the same size. So if you upgrade the battery to the chassis to 4 gauge keep your stereo wiring 4 gauge and upgrade other ground cables with 4 gauge.

I am thinking of doing this sooner or later... probably later based on my laziness right now (just installed an intake again and strut bar within the past 3 days)
