Stupid Exhaust Question

Is there a difference between an LX and an EX exhaust.... because i want to buy WS2 and on the DEZOD webpage it says "2dr coupe EX" for the title of the exhaust... i really dont think it matters but i just want to double check before i go buy anything... so please let me know!!

There IS a difference, because the LX has the cat attached to the manifold, while the EX has the cat farther back. I believe the rear section is the same, but not the extension pipe.

is there anyway that you could make the ex pipe work? maybe use an ex header or something? i was also interested in putting an ex pipe on my lx because there seems to be more choices out there for the ex. Slap me if i sound like an idiot because this is my first car.

You can still use it, I have an HX and installed an WSII on my car with no problems and I have 2 cats. I believe (may be wrong) that they are the same from the cat-back.

do a search next time, but they are not the same. the ex have a header that goes to a midpipe that the cat is connected to on the end(undder neath the car). To use an EX cat-back exhaust you will need a ex header and midpipe. It is a popular thing to do.
