3 pc. racing hart damage

This is the deal, I know this dude that is selling 17" Racing Hart M5's. $$$The three peice ones. All four for $500... the bad thing is two of them are bent one pretty bad( bend that is about three inches long and an inch high)... and the other not to bad (1" long x 1/8 high) They both are still in balance, and he says he knows a machine shop that will fix them for $40. I am getting them either way that price is good for just the two good ones, but I would like to know if that realy is is repairable, or should I plan on ordering two new ones?

Theses places can repair wheels. Check out the pictures, some of them were pretty trashed. The only down side is that it will cost 100-125 for each wheel. The Racing Harts are nice wheels, so it might be a good deal.

you can't get m5 3-piece o ebay for that price. those are hella expensive. i am pretty sure you can get them reshaped somewhere but i don't kow for how much. i'd take him up on the deal just for the 2 good ones as well. i was looking at those before i realized i didn't have 3gs o throw down. they are extremely lightweight being 3-piece and all.

Rhino is right no one or nothing can touch that price. I work at a shop part time and we can't even get'em whole sale at that price.
You're probably thinkin about the "evo" M5's (very different). They are one peice, heavier, and cost about half as much! The closest thing on ebay is 3 peice C5's two (2) of them no tires for almost $600.These are coming with tires too.Nitto NT-450's
I will go over to his house and post some pics today. Thanks for all the addresses Rick.

Blast38 -

Contact the manufacturer of those C5's. Being that they are modular 3pc. wheels, the manufacturer may be able to disassemble the components and replace the damaged section. I've seen this discussed elsewhere. You have nothing to lose. The only problem would be if they are manufactured in Japan, does anyone know? Shipping would be a headache.
