Has anyone with an automatic contemplated getting a NSX torqueconverter/transmission?
The gear ratios and final drive are MUCH better than ours:
Final Drive: 4.428
1st Gear: 2.611 - (42mph/6800rpm)
2nd Gear: 1.466 - (76mph/6800rpm)
3rd Gear: 1.025 - (109mph/6800rpm)
4th Gear: 0.684 - (163mph/6800rpm)
Rev Gear: 1.909 - (58mph/6800rpm)
I have looked on www.acuraautomativeparts.com, and the torque converter alone is around 1255$ USD.
I have heard of Eclipses and Lancers using the Vr-4 transmissions, is it possible to even do this with our cars?

Rep Power: 0 thats what i wanted to know...right now the final drive in the automatic transmission is set to 4.36, with a 4th gear ratio of .967 makeing the automatics top out at about 117...theres got to be a better gear ratio that could be setup for our cars...

Rep Power: 0 Like watching 2 women having intercourse, I'd like to see that happen. Plus the tranny wouldn't mount up seeing how the engine is a 3.2. Oh yeah, can you imagine going 58mph in reverse?

Rep Power: 0 It wouldn't make a difference, because it would be sitting in a crate, idle...
There is no way you could shoe horn a C30/32 tranny into the engine bay of a D17 Civic...
Rebew - 58 mph in reverse...that would make for some awesome reverse 180 spins...
