I did a brief search and didn't find any posts, so forgive me if this has been posted already.

Ah yes, the NSX... a good time to ask some questions...

What's the difference in power and performance with the NSX-R (JDM) and the USDM NSX? I know there's a JDM Type S NSX, too (and probably one or two more)... some stats would help. It looks like the NSX-R redlines at the same place as the USDM one does but is there should be a power increase, right?

If I'm not mistaken, the USDM NSX is 260HP on a V8 block, right?

I was reading upon the history of that car yesterday on Acura.com and the info on the NSX there beats any presentation for any Honda/Acura car that's on the company's website (I've been seeing a lot of them lately) - it's a handmade car to my surprise...

And though it redlines at 8,000, it can safely be pushed to 8,700RPMs. This made me wonder about the "baby NSX" the Integra Type R. I've heard a guy was able to push it to 8,600RPMs. Hmm...

That is one nice car... I like the newer one better than the older one.

Bwahahahaha! I thought it was a V6! Someone to me swore it was a V8 but I couldn't recall Honda ever making a V8 engine.

I think it's funny how you say it has a "real" VTEC in it - it's true... it also was the first car to have VTEC in it... then all the lil' sport compacts got VTECs in them. NSX is king.

My dad's best friend just bought one and let me tell you this car is a rocket ship. He had a Diablo before this and I bet the NSX could keep up with it till about 75. He is thinking about a super charger and Nitrous!!!! ONE NICE CAR!

honda does make a v8 it is for their attempt at f1 racing. I love hondas don't get me wrong but the mugen honda f1 car sucks. i think they can do much better if they just put some more money into it.

nsx-r is tight and all but i would rather have a 2003 viper, 500hp, 500 lbs of torque, now u have to admit that those stats are frickin astonishing I believe that it also does
0-60 in 3.9 sec just my opinion

Unleaded: Good catch Yes indeed, the 2002 Honda F1 engine is a naturally-aspirated 3.0L V10, designated as the RA002E, with an output of 800+hp. Last year, the RA001E, also a V10, had a narrower cylinder bank angle and made less power.

Don't mess w/ me on F1 stats or facts...love that racing series!!!
