HYPERBLINKER on sedan, anyone?i tried but i failed

help guys.....

the DIY HYPERBLINKER by phong was awesome & easy but when i checked my sedans fuse box d switch relays are diff. i tried to trounbleshoot the matter by pulling out each relay one at each time (i think there is 6 or 7 relays on the fuse box) WHILE MY SIGNAL LIGHT IS BLINKING thinking that if i pulled the right relay the signal will stop (am i right?) but to my demise the signal keep on blinking, anyone got an idea which relay is it on the sedan to modify? is it located also in the fuse box just like on the coupe?

thanxxx

trial and error sucks man, hope you get a reply from someone with the facts.
i have a coupe, sorry. mine is under the stearing wheel though. It should be an identical piece more or less anyways.
oh well, good luck

i think the site has a better diy for you.

leave the car off.don't even put your key in the ignition.
turn on your hazard lights.

follow the clicking under the steering collum.

the easiest way to get at the relay is to lay on your back on the floor boards feet on the chair
the relay you have from hyper blinker looks just like the oem one from honda.
its hidden like a ninja above and to the right of the fuse box below the steering wheel.

once you locate the relay turn off your hazards. this relay removes just like a fuse . only more stubborn give a good pull and it will slide right out . replace it with the new relay and its a done deal.

good luck

The relay is in the same position as the coupes. It's just that the relay itself is different. I don't know why, but it stumped me when I tried. Have you tried looking for all possible resistors on the relay? That is the only way that you'll be able to do it. I'm gonna have a chance to try making one for my friend's sedan again in the near future, so I'll report back afterwards if you guys haven't already figured it out...

Sorry to hear the sedan is causing so much trouble... Sounds like you put a good effort to trial and error.

www.hyperblinker.com
This should help fix the hyperblinker problem

I've just been reading about the hyperblinkers and hopefully you've found the DIY thread for the sedans by now. But in case you haven't, here is the sedan link. I didn't post the direct link because this guy deserves the credit for finding it.
