Front Strut Leaking

Hey Guys,

recently I heard clicking sound when I am slowing down and turning my wheel. So I bring my car to the Sears Auto Center, they said that both of my front struts are leaking. I wonder should I change it or not? My car only got 32000 miles on it (civic 2001 coupe EX). Do you think if I bring it to Honda dealer will they fix it for me free? I just couldn't believe that only 32000 miles and having problem with the front strut.

Any opinion will be appreciated.

Thanks

definitely take it in, and I highly doubt they will do it for free on a wear and tear part.

01 struts are prone to failures....but I had mine replaced free of charge cause I had extended warranty...

they said something about defective front struts....I would check with the dealer....

There are alot of complaints like this....http://www.carsurvey.org/viewcomments_review_19938.html

there used to be a list of tsbs on here. the 01 struts were one of them. if you don't have the warranty anymore, honda won't do ****. just going to have to get some aftermarket ones.
