AEM CAI Filter change??

someone correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe that you don't have to change the filter out. it's a washable filter, so you just take it off and wash it. i'm not sure what to wash it with or how often to wash it, but i'm pretty sure you don't have to go buy a new one.

Rep Power: 0 I think they say that you don't have to clean the filter for something like 50,000 miles or something like that, but lets be realistic here. Open filter at the bottom of your engine compartment does not equal clean filter. I waited for just over 4,000 miles before cleaning mine and I regret it after seeing the filter. There were literally chunks of grime in the creases of the filter.. I would recommend cleaning it at every oil change.
