exhaust question
no it will not fit. the civic EX carrys a different exhaust system (from header to muffler).
the ex carrys the shorty header, then the downpipe thats conjointed with the cat converter, than its the catback exhaust system.
on the lx, the cat converter is located onto the header and the exhaust is built differently due to the cat being right by the engine/inside header.
however, it is possible to do an lx to ex exhaust conversion, but is it really worth the price you pay for it? not to me. gains dont yield enough to make the funds and time worth a while.

It will fit, but you have to buy an EX header and highflow cat, if you go with a shorty header, then you will have to buy a downpipe, go to ebay and search for megan, there's a combo of header plus downpipe, then your cat-back will fit. Hope it helped...I have HP racing shorty with the downpipe and HP Racing J-spec cat-back.
