headers for LX coupe

alright, i want to get a DC sports 4-2-1 two piece header, but it is only made for the EX coupe and i have the LX coupe

now, is the only reason they say it is for an EX is becuase the LX has the catalyic converter built into the header, and if u replace it with an aftermarket header the car wouldnt have a catalyic converter?

or is it cause the spacing between each seperate exhaust 'hole' or whatever its called is different?

anyone know, cause i want to just get a EX header with a EX exhaust, i want to know the cheapest easist, but best way to do it

thx!

1) You will need a new cat
2) When you bolt the DC header up to the manifold, the other end will be too short to reach the next pipe.
3) You will also need to drill holes, and then mount your O2 sensors

This kind of information is all over the forums.....it has been asked fourteen trillion times, and thus I will kindly point you in the direction of the SEARCH function located within each forum. It is a much more timely and efficient method of obtaining information....most of the time that is.
