Rep Power: 0 "Goo Gone" not working.
I have an '04 and pulled up a little of my pinstripe to make sure the color underneath wasn't faded, and it wasn't, so I busted out a hairdryer and heated up the pinstripe to pull it off easier, got it off, and proceeded to use goo gone to get off the line of sticky residue left from the pinstripe adhesive - but that stuff isn't doing jack. I apply it, wait a minute, rub it off (and no adhesive comes with it) then I wash it off and a little comes off just from my elbow grease. Is there anything better/any other techniques to use to get this goop off of there?

Rep Power: 280 if worse comes to worse, i usually use some WD-40 or some carb cleaner (gasoline works too). but these arent too good for your clear coat/paint. but usually i wash and wax the part that i applied that stuff to and it should be fine.

Rep Power: 0 Use grease and wax remover. You can go to a parts store and for less than a few dollars get a can of 3M bug and tar remover, it comes in an orange can with white writing. Good Luck

Rep Power: 0 ive used goo gone when i applied 3m super strong double side tape for my lips on my car to remove them...it worked...but it sure did take awhile for it to get to it. get a towel that wont leave scratches or swirls on your car finish and scrub with it. if not that, than use ur finger tips and try to scrub them off as you keep rubbing back and fourth.
goodluck
