I just picked up a VIS invader hood today - Props to thummpr for being very cool. Im having trouble getting the hood to latch. Ive got the hood on and have raised the lock all the way to the top in order to adjust it. However, the hood wont completely latch and lock, nothing is blocking the hood from closing. It seems like there isnt enough weight for the hood to latch on to the car. The latch seems to go down, but can push the lock on itself. Anyone have an ideas? Thanks in advance!

btw - i ordered hood locks too, but they wont be here for another week.

use your weight to press down on the hood right where the hood latch is.

shouldn't be too difficult

push harder, but not too hard. Thats the only solution i can think of.

thanks - got it to work. just a matter of raising the stock locking mechanism and removing some underhood junk to get clearance just right.
