How to add led blinkers?

Hi,

I just bought flash blinkers.....it has 2 wires, one is red and other is black. Now I'm assuming the black is the ground wire and will secured to a metal ground. What abt the red wire? Where should i connect my red wire?

Please advice...

thnx for ur time

did you buy turn signals? You hook the red to power. If you just want them to come on with the parking lights, wire them to the small parking light red wire going in the headlight. Otherwise wire them to the green wire going to the turn signal if you want them to flash. Or hook one to green and the other to red (no ground) and it will both flash and stay on.

where is this green wire again? I thought it would be around the side mirror, since its a turn signal. The wires for turn signal isn't even too long either......I have civic 03.

ya the green wire you can see coming out of the front turn signal bulb (corner bulb, orange). You have to take off the fender plastic like it says in the manual. And then tap your wire to it and tape up. There's isn't alot of room and wire to work with.

okay it should work. The turn signal bulb has black (ground), signal power (green), and parking light power (red). Its just two wires, one to black and one to green. Just make sure the connection is right. Also they might have the wires backwards. Make sure red is actually positive by testing the markers on the battery.
