its the same in 01-05 d17a1 non vtec engine in the 01-05 dx/lx in the 00 dx they had the d16 non vtec

all cold air intakes for all 5 speed 2001+ civic are all the same..

EXCEPT

except for one thing.... there is a bracket that is placed differently on the dx/lx cai and the ex cai... i have used the dx/lx cold air and i also have used the ex cold air so i know for a fact.

the difference really is between the automatic and 5 speed trannys. you cant use a 5speed on an automatic but you can use an automatic on a 5 speed
