Sqeaky clutch? fix it then..
took me about 5 mins to stop the squeak.
ill try to get some pics on here soon.
1. go underneath your steering wheel and take off the panel that covers the
fuse box
2. there should be another panel that cover the arms that go to the pedals,
take this panel off too so you can see all the way up to where the arms
connect.
3. at the top of the clutch pedal you should a lil silver rod going through
the wall (when you push the clutch , you should see it move)
4. take some wd-40 or some of the lithium grease stuff , and put it on the
silver rod ,and push the clutch in and out some so it stops sqeaking
5. if it doesnt stop then , put a lil more on there , it will stop once there is
enough on there.
6. put the panels back on and your done.

That used to work for me. Now it only works for a couple of weeks, less if it rains. I am probably going to give up and just buy a new clutch master cylinder. I think there is a secret warrenty on this in the States (nothing here in Canada).
I have tried all the lubing I can on my vic. Our little clutch squeak is very annoying. I work at a honda dealership and the only way I was able to get rid of it was to replace the master cylinder and slave clyinder. I replaced the parts with genuine honda parts so who's to say it wont come back, at least this is what I am assuming. Bad thing is honda doesn't want to replace the master or slave because they are only making noise not going out. I could only claim one part to be faulty and even that I had to lie about breaking to get the part under warranty. So basically the conclusion I have come to is; it's a civic, it's built with cheapness, and lots a plastic.
I have had the new parts on for only a day so I'll see how long the quietness last

i have only done mine one time , and i havent had a prob with it yet , even in the rain, and trust me , i have had plenty since i have done it , i live in the panhandle of fl , right near pensacola , and i fixed it before hurricane ivan , and it hasnt squeaked again , and its been through like 4 hurricanes and a hella lot of rain
