Trouble bolting RandomTech cat to Kamikaze Shorty

Hey has anyone else had a hella time bolting their cat pipe to their header on an Ex? Anyone know how to do it easily? I couldn't for the life of me use the original bolts with the spring, the bolt just didnt seem big enough. My cat is a RandomTech high-flow cat and my header is a Kamikaze shorty. So right now I just used my own bolts and washers without the spring and its REALLY loud and doesnt sound healthy. I think its just not sealed tightly. Im think I'm gunna take it to a muffler shop tomorrow and have them get it right for me. Has anyone experienced this same pain in the *** problem? Any tips?

i don't have this setup, but am considering it. from the research i've done, you need to order an install kit if you have an '01+ non Si model Civic.

Dezod has it... and it's $25+s/h

can anyone who has this setup verify this? thx

edit: the Dezod site says it doesn't come w/ the 2 header bolts. any inputs anyone?

when I put my megan headers on I had to get new nuts for the springs because they welded the old ones right to the header which is crazy first of all but u shouldnt have any problem with it mine was real simple. But then again I dont have a cat back. but look at the stock headers they still might be on there.

Cool I didnt know about that install kit. Well I already have everything in that picture (from the exhaust kit and majestic honda) except the two longer bolts... which look like the bolts for the bottom of the header but then it says it does not come with the lower header bolts, so i dunna. I mean i bought new spring bolts from majestic but they just dont fit. Yeah Im taking it to Midas tomorrow and say "touch it and make it turn to good". So what do the springs do absorb vibrations? Cuz originally, on the stock setup, both sets were tightened to the point of no spring so i didnt see the point...
