Mounting front license place (after searched like millions forum post)

hey i just want to know how do i mount my front license plate without taking off the front bumper.

My front bumper has plate holes already, but they are to big. I don't want to open new holes to it. So anybody can tell me how the hell i'm going to mount my custom front license plate. My hand does not fit behind the front bumper.

Please tell me.

if the holes are to big then get bigger screws.

you can always go to home depot, lowes, walmart or a similiar store and get a larger screw. just get a small pack of short fat screws and screw them in. if you give it enough force it will tap is pretty much all on its own.
If you don't want to do that you can always just take off the bumper and use and nut and bolt. but if you want a quick fix and dont mind larger holes then get a fatter screw. I do recommend against this though.

My 05 Sedan has a separate black color "holder" for the licence plate. Not sure if the licence plate is made to go on directly to bumper.

The part is located here

I have a 2001 Civic EX Sedan and it didn't come with the license plate holder, but here is a link to where you can get one.

http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...tcgry5=BUMPERS

It is part #7 in the list ($7.57 plus S&H)

Hope that helps.

i bought a 2002 civic LX and it didn't come with any license holes. Can i drill them myself or will that ruin the intergrity of the bumper or possibly reck the paint? Where i live forces you have a front plate. Any ideas on how i can put it on with out damaging the car?

i dont like the idea of drilling into the bumper... cuz if you ever take off the plate, you'll have holes there.

Put it in behind the front windsheild or you could hang it on the grill of the front bumper like I see some1 do here.

Just screw it on. If you need the plate, then you need it. F'in do it and get it overwith.
If you don't need the plate anymore cuz you move and it bugs you that much, buy a new bumper, or put some flathead screws in and paint them over.
