Header Install

I recently bought oversized headers for an 01 civic ex manual. I've been told several different things when trying to find out how to install the 4 into 1 header. I was first told that I would "have to undo the motor mount in the front and slide it through the bottom where the motor mount was". Then I was told that "i may be able to twist and turn the header to fit through, and that i may have to remove the radiator and fan or maybe just the fan". I bought an off brand called focus Z a buddy of mine had these but had someone else install them for him. I'm just needing to find out how to install these headers whether it'd be easy enough to do it myself or if i'd be a lot better off taking it to a shop

i've never heard of your header brand. you shouldnt have to take off so many parts just to put on the header. is it just the header or does it have a downpipe also? if its a shorty header, you shoulnt need to take anything apart other than the exhaust piping. if it comes with a downpipe, then you might need to move some things apart. either way, you shouldnt need to touch the motor mounts...

It's just the header the single pipe that goes to the cat is maybe 3" to 3 1/2" long. Will the best way to get them in to run them up from below the car or drop them in and twist and turn.

Just drop it in from the hood. You shouldn't have any clearance problems. Just remember to let the car cool down before touching the stock headers and bring some WD-40 to loosen the bolts.

you should just be able to unbolt the stock header from the engine and the cat, and then bolt the new one back in the stock position locations.
