remote starter problems !!!

i m trying to install a (RadioStar) alarm starter to my 2000 Civic Lx 4Dr automatic.

i can success install the alarm but the starter wont start !!!!

after i connect the starter relay to the power+12, ignition, Acc and start wires.
it shown all the status lights ON....in the car control panel, it is like when i turn the Key position to "ON". but actually i did not inserted the key in.

when i try to start by remote, it was not success.... but it shown remote starter is active, engine running on the remote LCD.

when i try to start the car by my Key...it looked everything ok. but could not stop the engine when i turn to off position and pull out the key......... until i disconnect the starter relay it would stop.........

anybody has any ideas about this situation????

thank you for your help !!!

i did the connections at
constant=white=====> even tried connected direct to the battry (+) same..no success
ignition=blk/yel
2nd ignition=yellow
accsesory=wht/blk
starter=blk/wht

To make a remote starter work on our cars, you need an immobilizer bypass, since the car will not start otherwise without the key (which has a microchip embedded in it).

yes you need it for an 01 lx the imobilizer tricks your ignition into thinking the car has the chipped key in the ignition. i am not sure but you may need to leave one of your chipped keys in it at all times im not sure though

You open up the key and put the chip hardwired into your ignition assembly, thus tricking the car into thinking the key is there. Kind of a pain in the *** but im installing my Clarion, remote start and window roll up and down, right now and its the exact same thing. Almost done too im excited.
