Stock Clutch or Aftermarkert

Alright, my buddy has a 94 GSR Teg. His transmission is mostly gone, so hes gona have to replace the clutch disk, pressure plate, release bearings, and their just going to refurbish the flywheel. Question he has and I is, since the GSR is all stock, no mods, should he just get a stock oem clutch? Or is a aftermarket okay? Bc i have heard its not good to get aftermarket if your stock, etc. Thanks

aftermarket would be fine. i have an aftermarket clutch on my civic which is otherwise 100% stock. just make sure he understands that there will be an increase in pedal pressure with an aftermarket pressure plate.
