Bored? Clean your grounds.
If you're just sitting around, go out into the garage and clean the grounds on your Civic. I did this to mine, a 2001, and I could tell a big difference in the signal on the top end as well as signal to my amp. My lights do not dim anymore, at times when they normally would. All I did was take some medium grit sandpaper and work with the connections on the ground wires until they looked brand new again. I cleaned the point on the core-support where the ground wire connects with some degreaser (didn't want to sand paint off). I also sanded the battery terminals and the inside of the battery cable connetors until they too looked like new. I sanded the point at which the negative battery terminal connects to the chassis via the bracket which also supports the intake as well as the point right by the radiator hose that the ground wire is connected to. All in all, this was a good use of time. Definately worth the hour, or so that it took me. The only part of the intake system that you need to take off in order to do this, is the small pipe that runs right behind the battery. The rest of the intake system is not in the way. So get out there and clean your grounds.

I sanded some of mine down about 2 days ago while I had my car ripped apart. Im not sure how its doing cuz I havent driven my car yet. It should be anicer connection though, they looked like *** before.
Dont know if this will help but electricians use what's called contact grease. This keeps the electrical connection corrosion free and maybe you wont have to clean your grounds as often.

If you actuall wedge a penny inbetween the battery terminal and the terminal end... the coin will collect the corrosion and not the terminals. Then just throw away the penny and put a new one in.

Yea its called dielectric grease. Its mainly used for spark plug boots. I have seen this before. Is this just a myth or does this really work?? An *** load of ground wires looks like its over kill. But hey weider things have been known to show results.
