ok i have a 2001 LX Coupe and i want to get the Apexi N1 Cat Back, but have seen that they dont make it for the LX. what if i were to change my LX header with an EX header? will that work without f*cking up they way my car runs at all? and have the exhaust work on my car with the EX header? can some one help me please?... thanks

if your getting it put on at a shop it doesnt matter at all they will fab an extention for almost no charge...

but if you want a suggestion. forget that overpriced 50 pound stainless steel rig. buy yourself a kamikazi or any other dx/lx 4-1 header, and have a shop fab up header back 2.5" pipe with a resonator and a straight through universal muffler( there like 70 bucks) you will get way better gains, and you will be getting a header and full exhaust for the same price as just that cat back system. theres no need for stainless we dont have to worry about heat dissipation or any of that crap... its just weight. alluminized will probly outlive the car, or at least your ownership of it. plus your car wont sound like every wead eator rice box out there.

ohh i just knoticed your in cali... you need a cat if you dont have a way around carb/emmisions .... the cat on dx/lx is intergrated into the header(most horrible restrictive thing ever)
