Airbag question - SRS

When I removed my front seats, I had to unplug the sensors from the bottom of each seat which of course causes the SRS light to stay on. When I replace the seats with aftermarket ones like Sparco's for example, is it just a matter of attaching the sensor on the bottom of the new seats to have the airbags functional again?

I don't know man but,,,,you got to be really carefull when messing with the airbag sensors.
If you take it to somebody who knows about this system or electricity, they might bypass this plug with a jumper wire. It must be real easy. How many wires does each plug has?

Just so I know what I am up against... I plan to take my seats out this weekend to install dynamat on my floor. If I unplug the wires, do my dynamat thing , put the seats back in and plug the wires back in, I should be in good shape right? I don't want to have to mess with the SRS light staying on, and I sure don't want my airbags to be all screwed up! Do I have anything to worry about?

If you unplug the seats, then the next time you turn your car on, your SRS light will be on. Probably the easiest way to not have them come on is to disconnect your battery first.

OK, I didn't disconnect the battery first. Now what are my options?
