DIY install of moonroof visor - not as easy as it looks
I installed it yesterday, expecting it to take maybe 10 minutes, but i had all kinds of problems. first, the protective tape didnt stick, so i couldnt use it, and ended up with a few scratches in my paint. im gonna use some touch-up paint and fix them, no one will see them where they are, but still annoying. then i had a hell of a time trying to clip the visor on. it wasnt possible to do it the way the instructions said, i had to get the clips on, then try to attach them to the screw and get the nut on, which was very difficult because the screws were so damn short. it took me about an hour and a half before i finished, then another half hour to get the grease from the moonroof track off my car since it got on my hands and i touched the roof a lot getting the visor on.
yikes!!
It took me 10 min but mine came w/ 3m adhesive tape on the bottom. I cleaned the area, centered it w/ a ruler and put two sticky tabs to mark the spots and pulled of the tape's backing and viola! 10 min

Well, It took me about 10 minutes too! Just make sure you use alcohol to clean the area where the tape is going to be placed. Hook everything up but loose, this way the visor is installed but you can play with it until you get it centered(using a meassuring tape), then, tighten it up!
You should be set!

maybe my clips were too short or bent in too far or something, there was no way to clip them on if they were already attached to the visor, i had to clip them first, then attach them to the visor
it took me 10 min also
it should be easy like they said before but everthing on loose so it can be centered
but also i have had it on since i first got my car and am thinkin about gettin it painted the same color of my car just to be differant
