Headlight Clearing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone. Just an hour ago I finished clearing my headlights. Well heres the thing, I am pretty sure that I got them sealed pretty well. I went to autozone and bought some clear silicon. Before I applied it, I tried to remove some of the old adhesive and added the new silicon in a constant stream all around the black back of the light, leaving now gaps to where air might escape the seal, and put the two pieces together and added the clips. Hopefully it won't fog up. Do you all know anyway to test to see if the lights will fog up before I actually put my car back together? It would be a pain in the *** to do this all over again, and since I am in school and all, I don't think I would have the time to fix it again until later next week. Thanks everyone for all your help!

If the silicone has had time to dry, make sure all the bulbs are out and take a hose to it, go all around the areas where you put silicone and see if any leaks in. also take the handle off the hose just let it pour out like normal. Hope this helps

are you sure that would work, I mean air can fit through spaces that water can't, right?

make sure u sure water proof silicone, usual kitchen silicone, because other silicone don't seal good, or tend to leak after a few weeks/months

I used an automotive silicone and it worked great! if you put a good bead around the lights and let it dry you will be fine, just put them back in and away you go.
