interior neon wired to dome??
oh i've searched but i can't seem to find that much...i just bought 2 10" blue neon tubes for under my seats and i want to wired them up so they do exactly what my dome light does...how would i go about that? ...some time in the near future i'm planing on adding some tubes under the dash and in the back...what wires should i use? how do i connect them? can i just wire all the tubes together and them connect them into the cars wiring at one point? etc...any help would be awesome....thanks! that sounds cool...now did you run each individual wire off the tubes to the back of the lighter thing or did you connect them into eachother somehow? I don't know much about all this wiring stuff but i plan on running a total of 6 tubes....that just seems like a lot of wires all connecting back there!

would this work...
"easier way is to purchase to splicing clips, and two female blade connectors.
cut the end off the wire coming from the radar detector and test for positive and negative. now crimp the female blade connectors onto the ends of the leads.
pop the panel off where the cigarette lighter/12v power is located and splice into the two wires, black being ground, using the splicing clips.. now just connect the blade connectors to the ends of the correct splicing clips and you are done!"
those instructions are for wiring in a radar detector...and as far as a switch wouldn't it work as long as its wired somewhere between the neon positive wire and the cig positive wire?

What I did was this....I have two neon tubes under each seat. I brought the ground and power wire from all four tubes and spliced the four power wires together and connected them to one wire, and the four ground wires I just spliced them together and took out a bolt right under the center console near the emergency brake there is a few bolts, just take one out and tie the ground to it and bolt it back in tightly to secure the ground...Then I ran the one power wire up to the cig. lighter. Then added a switch...Here is a little tip for looks though: Try and mount the tubes to the seat and not the floor. I mounted mine on the floor and in the spring I am moving them to the underside of the seat. When they are on the floor then shine up and out and only a small amount of light acutally shows but if they are attatched to the seat then the light will shine down and out giving you a better reflection off the floor. Good luck!

Yes, I ran the one power wire to the switch and then to the cig. power supply. I mounted mine right nect to the cig. lighter to the left where there is a little square slot ( I think used for fog lights if you have that option)
there's a wiring chart in the DIY section. i know it has the dome light wires in it. when i install my under car lights, i'm going to just wire them to power and a switch inside so i can turn them off when i roll by the po pos.
Dome Lights GREEN/RED (-) AT UNDER DASH FUSE/RELAY BOX * <--right off the wireing chart
