Srs Unit Location
Hi I Have A 2004 Civic Lx M/t, And I Need To Know The Location Of The Srs (airbag) Unit. Also Does Anybody Know If I Should Replace It? The Car Was Hit On The Right Side And The Airbags Didnt Deploy But The Srs Light Is On. I Do Know That The Seat Belt Retractors Need To Be Changed But I've Asked Around And Everybody Gives Me A Different Opinion About Changing The Srs Unit. Thank You

The srs unit does not need to be replaced after a collison unless it was damaged in the collision. Don't replace parts based upon people's opinion. That is a very expensive way to go about troubleshooting. Get the SRS unit scanned to find out for sure what is causing the SRS light to come on as it is a very complex system to troubleshoot by trial and error.
