Screwed...

Hey i've got a interesting story... and i was wondering if ANY of this is possible.

i am 18 yrs. old. fresh outta high school. i was looking to buy a new car.
i wanted an 05 civic. I had no credit, however i was still enquiring about getting an LX model with a $5000 downpayment. American Honda Financing says NO. I of course was doing this under my own name due to the fact that adding my parents to the title would only royally jack up the interest rate.
So.. what they told me was, i could be considered for financing on a VP model... I love The civic. so i went with it.

NOW.... this is what im wondering. IS IT POSSIBLE TO: install necessities for power windows and power locks... and how would i go about it? the difference in an LX and VP is pretty much the power locks and windows... so how could i "RECTIFY" this situation?

ANY COMMENTS on this OTHER than "shoulda waited" would be appreciated.

I have a vp, my advice would be save up and buy an ex. i kick myself in the *** every day for not doing the same. Its worth the wait for the v-tec, plus most of the parts you can buy are for an ex. Then you dont have to worry about installing power windows, locks, cruise, sunroof, ,etc....... Youve already saved up 5gs, save up a few more and go for the gold

AlienX will become famous soon enough
you can put all the EX stuf on ur VP. Dont listen to ^^^
But if you want a fast car, forget all the little extras and put that money on a turbo instead.

yeah but by the time you changed the head, gauges, power windows locks, cruise, sunroof etc you will have paid more and have voided the warranty on most of the car........plus its a pain in the **** to find this stuff.......

My advice would be to not add any power windows and locks and spend your money on a nice set of wheels or save it for something else.

In a couple of years you will have improved your credit and will be able to qualify for a bigger loan. You'll be happy that you didn't waste your cash on something that is really easy to get along without.
