questions on factory alarm system

THis topic might have been covered but i did a little bit of searching but didnt come up with this. Ive been readin the factory alarm system manual for the 05 Civic and it says that i can program a remote start, auto unlock/lock, and trunk release features. I want to know how exactly i can activate these features or would i have to go bak to the dealership to get them installed? if i can activate them with the touch the button what are the proper steps to do this. if this topic been covered link me plz.

as far as i knew, trunk release and remote start were NOT available from honda. I don't know if it's any different for the 05. If it is available, your dealer will charge you an arm and a leg to install them.

trunk isnt possiable for sure becuase it is a lever not a button so it cant be opened electronically only manually. The dealership also wont do the remote start on manuals and neither will most places. All it is saying is that you can hook up an aftermarket one w/o running many extra relays. I'm positive that u cant just push a couple buttons and have it activated otherwise the dealership would have already done it for u and it would have been extra.

we are all aware of this info.. for that you can just take the CDN Acura EL security module and swap in, and also take the relays and trunk poper from it.

But i just want to see this pamphlet.

mallison is an unknown quantity at this point
i worked at circuit city for a while up until a few months ago and never heard anything about remote start in those and you would have to get a trunk pop solenoid and you would have to have another remote cause if its like the 02's there is'nt a button for it and as far as the remote start its agianst the law to have a starter on a manual and if it was on there the car would have a hood pin switch and so on, im 85% sure its not on there, i'll call my friend at the honda dealer and find out for sure
