VAFC2 help!!
well i put my fuel setup back to stock. so what i currently have is dx with d17a2, runing on dx computer being controlled by VAFC2. ex exhaust conversion(ex header with evo2 exhaust). and just swaped the ebay CAI for a AEM CAI(got it for $30). AEM pullies and and un orthodox underdrive pully.
I have the HI to Lo at 3900 but i think im gonna put it back to 4100 or 4200.
I am haveing problems tuning the thing between 2 and 4,000rpm. can anybody post how they have the wide/narrow throttle graph setup and help me out with my fuel curve. im running a little lean through 4000rpm. and when i try to adjust it i bog down. before anybody askes i don't have access to a dyno. so i street tune everything.

To start, set the vtec to STOCK position ****. The shop put mine at 2800rpms, which is close to stock, but really it's more complicated and best to leave it to the ecu to figure out. I'll post more when I get home. I can't find that DH dyno thread yet.

VAFCII tuning numbers: They only tuned the wide throttle, because the others were already pretty close. I have an auto, and they ended up using 2nd gear because 3rd didn't work well.
Also, they set the vtec to engage at 2800rpms, but I put it back to stock. I don't know exactly how the vtec works, but someone said you need 100% throttle to activate it and turning it on too low is bad (not enough oil pressure).

Gearbox your tuning is going to be totally diffent since have an EX ecu.
Ajhdragon i have had my car tuned twice now with the same setup as you, EX engine and LX ecu. During tuning they found that the car was running WAY rich before vtec point (4300) This is because the EX engine has 1 intake valve open, But the LX has BOTH intake valves open, Therefore its still suppying enough fuel for BOTH intake valves. from 2300rpm its at -8 then tapers off from there
2400 -7
3000 -6
3300 -6
3600 -5
3900 -5
4100-4
then at 4300 +7 to supply extra fuel for VTEC, since the intake valves are slightly larger on the EX head

thanks for the help guys i really appreciate it. you guys have been repped.. and for the vtec engagement the vtec hi cam will engage at a lower rpm when it is at 100% throttle than, when under regular throttle. that is the vtec pressue signal. but under normal driving vtec hi cam kicks in at i believe at 4300. since the dx/lx computer has no vtec pressue signal the vtec pressue on the vafc 2 does not work. but the vtec signal by rpm works with the vafc 2. so that is why i have the vtec set at lower rpm because it will not kick in earlier due to pressure.

most places that have a dyno can do it. It's actually really easy just turning a **** to add or remove fuel depending on the a/f ratio the dyno figures out.
