How to remove the shifter panel?

How to remove the shifter panel?
I have an 04 SI and I just purchased some aluminum shifter bushings. The problem is that I do not know how to remove the panel where the shifter protrudes from. Does anyone know how to remove it? I was thinking I would just pry it off from the front or I could try to pop it off through the back?
