Any shops you guys recommend on taking out a stripped nut? Not sure if performance shops do that kind of stuff. Something well known would do. Thanks

just one of the nuts on my rear hats, tried air gunning it out by that didn't work, my dad just told me to get it professionally done. I took it to a performance shop and they said they couldn't do it.

Well you could go to Sears and get the stripped bolt remover kit
You could try vise grips
You could dremel 2 flats on it and grab it with a wrench
You can just unbolt the strut from the hat, take it out then drill out the stud from the underside and spend $26.00 on a new tophat
You can try to carefully dremel a slot in the side of the nut. If you get it deep enough to get a screwdriver or chisel into and tap it with a hammer in the "lefty-loosey" direction, sometimes you can get the nut to start turning.
And no matter which method you choose, now you've learned why air tools are bad for removing hardware and you should never use them again.
