Experiment RSR **.avi video added**
I think it is loud between 2-3 rpms ... then it quiets down and gets loud again around 5.5+
I drove a little last night again and notice a kick in the high rpms (though it was cold and wet out, so I dunno)... I still didn't reset my ecu, but I'll report again later today/tonight
the idle has a deep rumble sound ... it sounds awesome when you turn your car on.
I think my stock header is definitely choking up the system though ...

I have a aftermarket header and AEM SRI...i am def going to buy this exhaust system i am hoping it will give me some power gains...i think my car is louder than that video clip with just headers/intake...so i have no idea what mine is going to sound like....i am hoping for not too loud....
you know ... it's actually not too loud... even at wot. it's almost as loud driving normally than it is at wot (in my opinion)
I don't have a cat either, which makes it louder ... but I definitely lost high end and some low end ... (maybe my stock header's choking it up?)

ok ... I guess it just took some time for the exhaust to break in ...
I have the same or more low end than I did with the stock system and my mid/high end has definitely increased ...

Hmmm i guess i should have updated this thread with the latest info... I posted it in the reviews, but not here >_< This exhaust was not engineered to work with a dropped car. At least not a car dropped significantly. Im on Eibach Sportline Springs, and that seems to be too low for the exhaust. You see, the control arm in that position will hit the piping when u hit a bump hard or even turn extremely hard. Repeated bumping on the bad roads of miami have caused my hangers to snap, and the exhaust to start pounding a hole in itself against the undercarriage.
Greddy had the same problems with their exhausts for the RSX, they promptly fixed it by adding a bend similar to what the stock piping has to go around the control arm. RSR has yet to correct this nor does it look like they will.
I have heard from a source that RSR is going out of business >_<
In all honesty i am changing to a Greddy EVO 2 though I am worried about clearance issues.
Gearbox should you continue to pursue the RSR exhaust, i hope you enjoy it as i have. Its a wonderful exhaust. Unfortunately i drive too hard to keep it in good condition. Good luck!

It won't stick out. On the coupe it doesn't and on a sedan it will but my oem lip extends further out, so I'm sure it will be covered. Also the lip is the same level as the stock bumper so no clearance issues with muffler. I expect it will be even with the rear lip or even slightly behind it on my sedan. If the pipes rattle, that's nothing a little thermotec wrap won't fix.
