Constant Power Source for heated seats
Hey its AggressiveAdam on Tellys computer
Were installing heated seat switchs in my car (for my new butt warming RSX seats) I want the heated seats as well as my deck to work while I am in remote start mode. Currently the 12v accessory and after market deck are bypassed when in remote start. My goal is to have warm seats when I get in the car and in the event I have to leave people in the car, let them enjoy some music without leaving the key in the ignition
So I suppose we are looking for a constant power source, the only thing I can think that is on while the car is on is the power windows and the heated mirror defrost button. Both telly worrys would put a strain on the electrical system
I have a Clifford RSX 3.5 alarm/remote start system w/ bypass module
your ideas are appreciated

the clifford RSX 3.5 is exactly the same as my VIPER 791XV.
TO have the deck working while the car is in remote start, you have to hook the "2nd ignition output" wire (pink/white on remote start satellite relay module) up to the 2nd accessory (white/red +) and then program that wire to "accessory" (its defualt is ignition) its in the manual. (menu #3, option #9)
Im sure there is some way you can rig up one of the - ground outputs from the remote start module to a relay and have it power your seats. Its the same princaple as having the defrost come on when the car is in remote start.
