If you are just trying to replace the gauges, you dont need to take the whole dash out. Jsut 2 screws above the black bezel around the gauges. Than there are 3 more than you see easily. Than just pop the 2 large clips out, and it comes right out.

It sounds like that is what you want, not the whole dash. If it is the dash, look all under the dash, get all screws, take the glovebox off by taking the screws off the bottom of it while its closes. Take out the radio centerpiece, and look for the screws hidden all around in there, usually you can not see them, but you can see the plastic where they screw into. Than once you take out your gauges and bezel by the above paragraph, you want to take the steering wheel off. You just take the 3 screws out from underneath the wheel and pop the 2 pieces off. Than you get a T screwdriver (star shaped), and get the 2 screws holding the wheel in. Than you should be able to take the cover off the steering wheel, and unhook the airbags. Before you unhook any airbags, MAKE SURE THE CAR HAS BEEN OFF FOR AT LEAST 15-20 MIN JUST TO BE EXTRA EXTRA SAFE. I think 8 or 10 min is what Honda recommends. To get the other airbag on the passenger side, go where you took out the glovebox and look up. You will see the airbags being held on by 2 or 3 bolts. Take them bitches off, and unhook them. Than push it up a little bit til it starts coming out of the top of the dash. Go up and pull it. Now if you got all the screws, the dash is loose, and able to come out. If not, look for where its sticking. guaranteed youll miss some.

I did all this before I found the DIY. About 2 days before as a matter of fact. I was a little angry when I found it. But just do what i said, and take every screw out attached to the dash. When out, its a good time to clean the ventilation pipes. The plastic things the a/c flows through. i sprayed a bunch of water down there, and cleaned my dash behind it. Also cleaned all the dust (which youll see) all over the wiring and whats left in the car. You can do this with one person, its easy once all the screws are out. I took it out and installed it by myself.

Hope this helps

Peace
