fillers for ABS plastic?? bondo?
There are random holes and gaps and actually a few cracks in some of the trim pieces in my 2002 LX. What i want to do, is fill the holes but i don't know who makes the right type of filler. I know bondo makes fiberglass filler and actual body (metal) filler, but I think that won't work for ABS plastic. what exactly do you guys reccomend that will fill holes and gaps but also won't crack over a few months?

Hobby shop. Buy plastic putty. I don't know brands, but I do know it works from when I used to build models. Standing up to weather? Dunno, always used it indoors.

well i mean, like i said, this is for the inside of my car not the outside. If it was outside of the car, i would simply have purchased the metal body filler lol. but thank god my car isnt made of all plastic on the outside :P thx for the information, anyone else? possibly a specific name of a product that is especially nice for this particular application?
I need TP for my bunghole

this might help
PLASTIC WELDING KIT
$29.99
http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=41592
then buy the rods
PLASTIC WELDING RODS, 50 PC.
$4.99
http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=41602
then sand to desired shape
the rods have (16) white PC ABS rods.

fiberglass resin is used for fiberglass, not ABS, isn't that correct? that's why i didn't buy it at the store when i saw it. this type of resin jelly needs a fiberglass structure to adhere to it properly, right? otherwise i can see it now... 3 weeks later when the temp is too low or hot it starts to crack.
well it doesen't matter what the piece looks like, because it's gonna look different in the end anyways. The point is, it is made out of ABS plastic and i need a filler to fill gaps, holes, spaces, ETC without the cracking over time
but if it helps any, i guess heres a picture. keep in mind these things:
this is what i found on google

•••••••dont pay attention to the stock cd or casette player. picture just for refrence. the bottom (where the cd is) is a holder and there's a kenwood mounted flip over cdplayer, where the casette player is••••••••
now theres a piece that goes around the actual upper module (where the casette player is) that allows you to slide a cd player in there, what i want to do is mold that with the silver part in the pic, with the black part that's around the cd player,(yes i know theres nothing like that in the pic, its just refrence) and also i want to mold in the cd holder that's right below it in the same enclosure. im sure those of you who have aftermarket players in, know what im talking about. i want a cleaner look with less edges. this piece in itself is almost never ever removed, nor should it be, i would rather epoxy it down and fill the gaps in to make it invisible.
some people have some similar with mounting a in-dash dvd player. hope u know what im saying now

technically fiberglass could adhere to anything thats rough surface, bur ur trim or whatever youre doin is prolly too small to patch fiber glass on there to make it work properly. thsu, fiberglass is not ur #1 choice.

To mold that together, I would use a CA glue like Zap A Gap. Do not use the kicker. let it dry naturally. You can use the kicker to set the piece but not to fill. It is a bitch to sand but it does not shrink. It is a very time consuming process. When sanding, be sure to wear a good mask because it is very bad for your health.
Other things you can use, Fusor body panel adhesive, SMC panel adhesive, and Duramix rigid.
Also let it cure in the car for a couple of weeks before priming and another after priming.
