Does anyone have any idea how many what's those stock CD-players put out?

Just a guess, but somewhere around 10-12rms watts. Aftermarket decks are supposed to put out around 20wrms.

haha. But the deck is weak. I remember how terrible those speakers sounded at first. Even the cheap infinity I have now sounds wayy better.

Hell mine sounds incredible ESPECIALLY for stock, nice bass, really crisp, clear highs... it's all stock

stock system isnt bad, its really nice for stock.. but no stock system can compete with a good aftermarket system..

Oh i'm not saying that they can, I was just curious. The system blew my mind when I first bought the car. Then again I have both the treb. and bass all the way up. but let me tell you I've done many a system install and haven't seen a car that is as much a pain in the *** just to get the stock head-unit out.

Maybe because you had a coupe? All my firends got in mine and were like why is your stereo so crappy. It really was. My first mod was new speakers on the stock deck and everyone noticed the difference.

Yes, I do have a coupe, and come to think of it that may just be the reason. good thinking gear.
